Well folks, after a 16 month hiatus, the blog noone according to the stats has ever read is making a triumphant comeback. I will try to be funny, i will try to be informative and interesting - but i cant promise any of these things. So i will just sit here and write utter crap till my ship comes in and i get a book deal that makes 50 shades of grey look like a high school writing project.
Perhaps i should have been witty and called it 50 shades of gay to appeal to a more niche audience - however it is what it is - utter crap for the masses. Enjoy

The K K K Kings S Speach cleans up on Oscar Noms
As was widely expected (I had a tenner on it), Colin Firth's blockbuster the Kings Speech collected a nod in all the relevant categories on the Oscar nominations.
Firth betrayal of the stuttering monarch has drawn plaudits and if the reports are to be believed, spontaneos applause from audiences.
This from a film that apes K K K Ken in a fish called Wanda - Go figure !.
The main competition seems to be Black Swan - a film about a naughty ballerina - now there sa novelty !.

Orange County Choppers - WTF?
Apparently a small firm called Orange County Choppers that sells bike to mid life crisis afflicted individuals in America is closing down...or is it ?.
Apparently and not unsurprisingly, OCC stands for more than the aforementioned bike shop.
Currently we have ideas ranging from Officer of the Comptroller of the currency (I suspect that is a typo) to 'O crap its Christmas.
Either way, it just proves what a modern day marvel this internet thingy really is that in the matter of a few hours a tiny little trivial story like this can be read about and commented on.
Even though it is really explicitly boring - I'm going now.

its official - Britains GDP is Crap
Britains GDP figures were released at 09:30 GMT and unsurprisingly they were rubbish. This has been forecast for several days and was common knowledge to everyone outside the Forex community who panicked and immediately sold sterling and bout into the matabele gumbo bean.
Apparently the weather was to blame, no mention whatsoever of decades of economic incompetance or just plain bloody greedy (and incompetant) bankers. Ah yes, the snow is the reason our economy is so much in the cak - that old chestnut once again.
On the subject of bankers, heres a quiz question for you. I get - totally the fact that the banks had to be saved. Now however, we are told that the bonuses they are paying themselves with OUR money are justifiable to keep the 'TALENT' in this country. This would be the talent that dropped us in a 100 Billion pound hole, nearly ruined the country and has forced austerity measures on us for years to come?. This the 'TALENT' that will see people die as a result of health cuts.
You just keep the talent and I nominate my dog bouncer as the next 'talented financial whizz kid'. Surely he could do a worse job ?.

Russia's Domodedovo Airport Explosion
More than 31 people are feared dead and 100 injured when a suspected suicide bomber struck at Moscows Domodedovo Airport - Which is situated som 25 miles South of the Russian capital.
The blastis believed to have eminated from the baggage hall in the arrivaks building.
There are a large number of emergency service vehicles on the sceme and the situation is one of panic at present.
One theory being put forward at president is that the potential bombers could be militants from the Caucasus region
